The American Made Overlay (Asphalt Over Concrete) Drop-Segment Supreme Series Diamond Blade is laser welded and specially designed to cut through abrasive asphalt over non-abrasive cured concrete materials. American Diamond Blades’ Overlay Drop-Segment Supreme Series line of diamond blades feature the highest quality GE Synthetic industrial diamonds manufactured with hot pressed technology to give the blades the longest life possible and increased efficiency. It’s segmented rim has special drop segments, which are laser welded to the steel core, to prevent undercutting and potentially fatal segment loss, allowing them to cut overlay (concrete on top of asphalt) quickly and effectively. The steel core itself is made with Pittsburg Steel and is double tensioned to prevent warping and heat treated to help protect from heat buildup. American Diamond Blades Overlay Drop-Segment Supreme Series Diamond Blades are perfect for construction and building projects, for highway and road work, and for repairing or laying utility lines under driveways, parking lots or any application where there is abrasive asphalt over non-abrasive cured concrete. Available in a 1 in. arbor so it can be used with a variety of walk-behind saws and also available with a 20mm adapter or they are also available with a straight 20mm arbor so it can be used on a STIHL cut-off saw. They are designed for wet and dry cutting on either handheld cut-off saws (up to 18″) and walk-behind saws up to 35 HP.
